In short: Daily Soccer Predictions has no sign-up and does not ask for your name, email or phone number. Like most free apps, it uses trusted third-party services for ads, analytics, crash reports, notifications and in-app purchases, which may process device information as described below.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the Daily Soccer Predictions mobile app on Google Play for Android phones and tablets and on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and to this website. "We", "us" and "our" refer to Daily Soccer Predictions. By using the app you agree to the practices described here and in our Terms of Use.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information stored on your device

  • Your favorite matches, selected dates, theme and other preferences. These stay on your device and are not linked to your identity.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device information: device model, operating system and version, app version, language and region.
  • Usage data: screens viewed, features used and session length, collected through Firebase Analytics.
  • Crash and log data: if the app crashes or hits an error we receive diagnostics such as device state, IP address, app configuration and the time of the error, through Firebase Crashlytics.
  • Advertising identifiers: the Android Advertising ID or, on iOS, the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) — on iOS only if you allow tracking (see section 5).
  • Notification token: a token that lets us send push notifications to your device, if you allow notifications.

2.3 Purchase and subscription information

If you buy Premium, Apple or Google tells the app which product you bought, its price and currency, the store it came from, transaction identifiers and receipts, and renewal, cancellation and expiry dates. Payments are processed entirely by Apple or Google — we never receive or store your card number or billing address.

3. How we use information

  • To provide the app: predictions, live scores, results and your saved favorites.
  • To verify Premium access, restore purchases on a new device and prevent fraud.
  • To show ads in the free version, including personalised ads where you have allowed them.
  • To send push notifications you have agreed to, such as new tips and match updates.
  • To measure performance, fix crashes and improve features.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Third-party services

The app uses the services below. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

Ad partners may use advertising identifiers, IP address and device information to show and measure ads and to prevent ad fraud.

5. iPhone & iPad (iOS)

App Tracking Transparency

  • The app asks your permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps and websites.
  • If you choose Ask App Not to Track, the IDFA is not shared and you see non-personalised ads.
  • Change this any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Other iOS details

  • Ad networks may use Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork to measure ad performance without identifying you.
  • Notifications are delivered through the Apple Push Notification service, only after you allow them.
  • Purchases are handled by the App Store and linked to your Apple ID.

6. Android

  • Reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in Settings › Google › Ads (or Settings › Privacy › Ads, depending on your device).
  • On Android 13 and later the app asks for permission before sending notifications.
  • Purchases are handled by Google Play Billing and linked to your Google account.

7. Push notifications

Notifications are sent through Firebase Cloud Messaging and only if you allow them. You can turn them off at any time in the app's settings or in your device's notification settings.

8. Cookies & SDKs

The app does not use browser cookies itself. The third-party SDKs listed above may use identifiers and similar technologies to provide their services. This website uses only what is needed for it to work and to remember your light/dark theme choice in your browser.

9. Security

Data between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit, and we use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Data retention

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes above. Analytics and crash data are kept under Firebase's retention settings. Purchase records are kept while your subscription is active and afterwards as long as needed to restore purchases, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Data stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the app.

11. Your rights & choices

  • Access and deletion: email us to ask what data relates to your installation or to request deletion.
  • Ads: limit personalised ads in your iOS or Android settings, as described above.
  • Notifications: turn them off in the app or in device settings.
  • Subscriptions: manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California law), you may have further rights, including to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority.

12. Children's privacy

The app is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will help remove any related data.

13. International transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, they use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Changes take effect when posted.
